She bought antique buttons, mainly at the Paris flea markets, and made them into cufflinks. They were marketed to high-end stores on the East Coast and always packaged in their black wooden box with a gold label. They remained in business until the 1980s. A fine pair of two sided gilt sterling silver and black enamel cufflinks, c. 1960. The set is probably Scandinavian in origin and is marked 925S. There is also a maker's mark of the letter E. The cufflinks measure 3/4" by 1/2" and the tie bar measures just under 3" by 1/4". Condition is excellent.

A handsome sterling silver and ebony wood set of cufflinks and a matching tie bar, c. 1960s. The set is from Taxco, Mexico, and signed BETO. The cufflinks have a diameter of just over 3/4" and the tie bar measures 2 1/4" in length. Condition is excellent.

This is an fine pair of Japanese copper and silver mixed metal 19th century Menukis that have been mounted as cufflinks. The Menukis have a smiling man squatting and enticing a standing mouse with what may be a piece of food. There is fine engraving in the metalwork. The backs are marked Made In Japan Sterling 925. They measure approximately 1 3/8" by 5/8" and are in excellent condition.
