A fine pair of Japanese 20th Century signed Fukugawa porcelain vases circa 1940-50. Each vase with a short flared neck and a bulbous body decorated in relief with ripe persimmon. Condition: Excellent. Dimensions: Height 9", Width 8".

Beautifully decorated, this Japanese porcelain bowl is articulated with a band of pink basket-like pieces forming the sides. It is hand decorated on the rim in a lovely aqua, and on the inside base with a phoenix. With the exception of some very tiny glaze chips, it is in excellent condition. A fine vibrant Japanese cloisonne plate, c. 1920. The plate features a peacock and another bird under flowers and cherry blossom trees. There is a cobalt blue border and the back has the Inaba mark. It has a 7 1/8" diameter. Condition is very good.
