A fine and beautiful pair of Victorian sterling silver salts circa 1865. Each square in form and decorated in a Renaissance Revival Style with winged cherubs surrounded by scrolling vines and flowers. Between the cherubs are two types of facial masks, the first a female with projecting hair and the second, a male with a head draped with an animal skin hood. A wonderful Victorian period silver plate Medallion napkin ring, c. 1870. The napkin ring has a man in profile with a laurel wreath and helmet. There is no maker's mark. It measures 2" tall and 2 3/4" wide. Condition is excellent.

With a heavy, Louis XV style scrolled border, this sterling silver, oval bowl manufactured for Galt Brothers Jewelers in Washington, DC around the Turn of the Century, features a pierced interior. It measures 8" x 6 3/4". The center interior features three decorative, intertwined initials. Essentially sound, with only some pitting to the center.

Manufactured by the superb craftsmen at the Shiebler Silver Company, this large caddy spoon, or perhaps a nut spoon (for bridge - with a club on the handle?) measures 4 3/4" in length, and 2" across the bowl. It is marked with the Shiebler wings, the word "Sterling" and the name of the retailer, Bigelow, Kennard and Co. American, c. 1900. It is in pristine condition.

Measuring 10 1/4"in length, having a sterling, Princess pattern ice cream knife, c. 1915. The handle is sterling silver, and a the blade is Carbon steel with silver plate. It is in excellent condition and is from Baltimore, Maryland. It is marked Stieff on the blade.

A wonderful Victorian period two sided agate box. The two slices of agate are mounted as a silver plate box. It measures 2 1/2" by 1 1/2" and is 3/4" tall. It dates c. 1880 and is in excellent condition.

A fine Persian silver and green adventurine hard stone box, circa 1920. The top is fitted with a stone panel above a lid and case decorated with swirling floral filigree. Condition: Very good. Dimensions: Height 1 1/4", Length 2 3/8", Depth 1 3/4".

A fine Continental silver, plique a jour, and guilloche enamel box, circa 1910. The box with a hinged lid decorated with a Greek key border encasing a round guilloche enamel ring in lime green cushioned with a colorful floral plique a jour field. The silver bears makers hallmarks and a 900 silver standard mark. The box is in very good condition with 2 minor enamel losses( minor nicks) in the left and front vertical and left vertical panels. A fine French Neoclassical Style silver covered compote circa 1830. The lid is slightly domed with palm leaf finial and a palm leaf collar. The handles are scrolled and end terminate in horse heads. There is a short tubular plinth and a round disk base. The silver is hallmarked on both base and lid. Condition: Excellent. Dimensions: Height 5", 7 1/2". Weight 13.3 Troy ounces.
