A fine European hallmarked silver and enamel small box or compact, circa 1920. The hinged lid is painted with two parrots perched on tree limbs in a lush jungle. The lid opens to an interior in silver. The outer surface of the base is in a lime green guilloche enamel. The silver is stamped with an illegible hallmark and the silver standard mark 935. Condition: Excellent. Dimensions: Height 7/8", Diameter 2 3/8".
